A New word banned from WWE Television

WWE fans are aware that some words that wwe wrestlers and announcers are not allowed to say on WWE programming.

The  fans may have seen  WWE Superstars didn’t say “Ontario” as the location of Friday Night SmackDown last week from the Toyota Arena.

Dave Meltzer detailed in the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that the name of the city was not allowed to be used on the broadcast. Instead, WWE used the term “Southern California.” No one knows why the city can’t be said on television.

Just last month, Dave Meltzer posted an updated list from 2020 that Vince McMahon doesn’t like.

It should be known that the word “kill” was of course on that list, but Goldberg used the word a few times in his promos when he was feuding with Bobby Lashley leading up to their match at Thursday’s Crown Jewel pay-per-view event where the WWE Hall of Famer went over.
